I enjoy LIVE music...my creativity feeds off of it. I usually don't lug my camera to LIVE shows because I just want to enjoy the music and not have a camera to my face. Andy gave Kyle and me photo passes for his House of Blues show and I've experienced his performance several times before, so I didn't have an issue shooting :)

Nice work man! I'm a huge fan of Andy's music... how did you manage to get photo passes from him?

Love the pics. I really love the shoes one...that I think is my fave. I gotta tell you I love seeing live music, but I love even more taking pics at the show. It just gets my blood flowing. Usually we just get the 3 first songs anyways so I love to go get the pics. Chimp in the back during the 4th song while I dance and then get back up on the rail and have some fun. I don't know maybe it is the anticipation of the pics when I get home (of course I gotta at least peak and make sure I did not just blow it), but I totally seem to have more energy at the shows I shoot.

Oh are you still coming up to Denver to ski/board this month. If you are I would totally love to meet up and hit the slopes with you. We could even hit the fox in Boulder for a show if the timing was right.

At the Dallas house of blues I dont know what is wrong with the lighting guy but he blows out the lights behind and on top the artist and that drives me nuts. I cant get my head around that.. And it's fine if they are using the spots but most musicians there dont use the spots. Nice venue but crappy lighting guy.
